Historic Bittenbender Building

Ale Mary’s is located in the historic Bittenbender Building, which has been part of the fabric of Downtown Scranton since the 1800s. Founded in 2014 by proud Scrantonians who have a deep love for the area and its people, we offer a modern and relaxed environment for our patrons. Ale Mary’s features a rotating selection of nearly 100 craft and import beers to be paired with our gastropub cuisine. Our hallmark interior has 2 bar areas with 20 rotating draft options of craft and domestic beers, along with designated dine in areas for those looking for a relaxed dinner experience, a quick bite with friends, or up close and personal seating during our weekend entertainment.

Tap Takeover

With 100 rotating craft and import brews, once a month, we feature a brewery by hosting a Tap Takeover of 5+ drafts. A representative from that brewery comes prepared with free samples, giveaways, and specialty raffles for our customers.

Past TAP TAKEOVERS include Dogfish Head, Ommegang, Victory, Susquehanna Brewing Company, & Nimble Hill, to name a few.

Weekly Events
